Tree of Life Food and Craft Collective

Providing wholesome, natural and handcrafted products for the entire family.

Great products with a Social Mission!

Members of The Congregation of Israel, The Knesset of Jesus began the Tree of Life Food & Craft Collective to provide wholesome, natural and organic foods and crafts to all those who enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

The Tree of Life began as a food cooperative, established in 2003, whose purpose was to provide natural, local and organic food products at affordable prices.

This volunteer effort grew into two locations, a retail at the Broadway market in Buffalo and a buyer’s club of twelve families located in the Massachusetts Avenue Project’s community center. In August of 2005, the community center in which our co-op was located was destroyed by arson, completely wiping out the Co-op’s food and supplies.

However, through God’s grace we are rebuilding our collective efforts to bring to you good quality products.

Over twenty percent of our proceeds goes to our nonprofit organization, The Congregation of Israel, The Knesset of Jesus Biblical & Cultural Center.

Whose mission is “to build self-sustaining cooperative communities through building character, education, productive work and environmental sustainability based on the principles of love, unity, care for the earth and our fellow.”

.
We seek to accomplish this mission through our Kibbutz Natsiyr Community Housing and Agricultural project, The Family Restoration House and our urban Community gardens.

To sustainably support our programs and projects we formed the Tree of Life, which is a for-profit enterprise composed of a food buying co-op and product creating collective.

90% of the Food and craft products are handcrafted by members of The Congregation of Israel and range from tea blends and hand made breads to full size quilts .
